↑のように年始にAnswers.comが話題になってた
おいらが初めてAnswers.comを見て思ったのは、
ユーザが欲しい情報にワンクリックで到達させようという試みってことは
"Yahoo!のダイレクト検索じゃん"
ってこと
ダイレクト検索についての説明
Answers.comのほうがWikipedia使ってるから情報量多い気がするけど、
Yahoo!は辞書のコンテンツもあるし、検索に辞書のタブもあるから、
必要な情報には充分Yahoo!の検索で辿りつける気がする。
また、ウェブサイトが多くなってきて、必要な情報を見つけるのが難しくなってきている問題に対しては
検索エンジンの性能を上げるとは別に、
hatenaやY!知恵袋のような人力検索という解決法もある
とかを考えると、
Google、MSN、Yahoo!の中で検索エンジン戦争を勝ち残るのは、
検索エンジンあり・ダイレクト検索あり・人力検索ありの
豊富なコンテンツを持つYahoo!なんではないかと
おいらは思うのです
ま、ここでの前提は
ダイレクト検索や人力検索が検索エンジンをフォローしないと必要な情報にたどり着きにくくて
ユーザもダイレクト検索や人力検索を支持している場合ですけどね
将来的には、とってもパワフルな検索エンジンがでてきて、
キーワード入力するだけで必要な情報にたどりつけるのかもしれないなぁ
とか年始に上2つのAnswers.comのエントリーを見て思った
どうなんだろなぁ
